In a spurt of unplanned and ill-conceived self-improvement, I'm reducing the amount of caffeine that I consume. Not eliminate, as I've been down that road and it is not pleasant for me or the people around me. I've been doing it for about two weeks now and it is going well.

At the height of my caffeine consumption, this is what my day looked like:

Morning: Large coffee with shot of espresso.
Noon: Caffeinated soda
Mid-afternoon: Caffeinated soda
Evening: Caffeinated soda

Now:

Morning: large coffee, half-regular and half-decaf
Noon: Caffeinated soda
Mid-afternoon: soda, no caffeine
Evening: generally beverages without caffeine.

So I've reduce my in-take by half. I'll see how well I stick to no caffeine in the evening was classes start back up. I’ve also reduced the amount of chocolate that I’ve been eating (which has lasted a week, so go me). Okay where I am. My goal is to switch to decaf (as it is not completely without caffeine) as some point.

It's funny, I've noticed much difference is my energy level. I think I was drinking so much I build up a tolerance for it.

I do half-regular and half-decaf for my coffee (far cry from the cup of regular with a shot of esspresso that I used to drink every morning), and moved from two
